K13 Recycling was founded by Jarud Koenigsknecht in 2013, in response to a need for responsible data destruction, and system recycling.

Jarud is a certified technology professional with over 20 years’ experience helping municipalities and law enforcement organizations manage information systems, cybersecurity risks, and technology lifecycles. Dissatisfied with the lack of safe options available at the time, Jarud took it upon himself to do it right.

A decade later the K13 team have worked with municipalities, law enforcement, schools, businesses, and other organizations that understand the importance of protecting sensitive information.
